Our only world is a not-for-profit registered charity, with a mission to "inspire and raise awareness of our fight against marine plastic pollution and its effect on our only world."
Our Only World had a project to design and manufacture a water refill station that could be used in high footfall areas near popular UK beaches.
Being a Cornish based charity, the initial target areas were the beaches of the southwest.
The water refiller had a very specific requirement – incorporate a moulding that was manufactured using recycled Cornish fishing nets.
Our only world was introduced to Redsoul Design Via MSL ( Metalwork Solutions Limited) and SWMAS ( South West Manufacturing Advisory Service).
After meeting with Our Only World, Redsoul Design understood the project aims, timelines and the specific requirements of the project and agreed to Project manage the entire process.
In order to complete the project to the timescale required, Redsoul Design liaised heavily the manufactures and ultimate customers of the project – Metalwork Solutions Ltd and Revmo Ltd ( manufacturing) M&M Plumbing ( installer ) , South West Water ( Sponsor, Customer and water Regulation Advisor), as well as SWMAS – project advisor to Our Only World.
Redsoul design was able to complete the initial design within 6 weeks, and have a working prototype within 10 weeks – this included a fully manufactured metal construction, fully plumbed pipework and 3D printed moulded top cover.
By using Redsoul design, Our Only World had a complete working until within 10 weeks and not 2 years as it had previously taken to reach this stage.
We were able to swiftly and efficiently accelerate the project due to a number of factors including:
· Using our expertise and extensive design for manufacture knowledge base
· Being able to fully control the project until such times that the project could be handed over
· Working closely with highly regarded manufacturing companies with whom we have long standing relations with.
· Holding weekly project calls with clients and suppliers.
In any well-run project , communication is key.
The working and fully regulatory approved units can be found at various locations around the south west: the below picture is taken at Killacourt, Newquay and is now providing free water refills to the surrounding area.
"Redsoul Design stepped in to save our Water Refill project from collapse and potential failure. We were experiencing many difficulties but Rich's expertise and perseverance, especially during lockdowns, saw this project through to completion. We are now manufacturing our product and Rich is always there to give advice and support. Without his commitment we would not be where we are today."

Attomarker digital health technology have developed a small, simple-to-use blood-testing device that can perform blood tests from a single pin-prick of blood, with results in around five minutes. The Multi-patented Attomarker technology collects the blood sample on a disposable credit-card sized chip which slots into a fully mobile device, docked to an iPhone 7 or 8.
The iPhone camera visualises the blood tests which are then interpreted by the iPhone.
Redsoul Design were contacted by Attomarker, to help them develop and make a number of new prototype designs for various new projects.
By being adaptable, responsive and quick, Redsoul Design have been able to aide Attomarker in moving forward efficiently and successfully on these new projects.
"We have involved Redsoul Design in a number of R&D projects requiring rapid mechanical design-manufacture cycles. Every time Redsoul Design have provided us with swift, flexible and professional solutions, all the way from the rough design ideas to the manufactured components. We hope to deal with Redsoul Design again."

dinghies ,boats and kayaks.
The range includes Roller launch trailers, Spineback trailers and Bespoke custom boat trailers.
Admiral trailers are a rapidly growing business and contacted Redsoul Design to assist them in with their growth.
After an initial on site meeting to talk through the challenges faced by Admiral Trailers, Redsoul Design put an outline plan in place that would provide solutions to these challenges and allow the company to increase growth and productivity, but with reduced stress and frustration at the same time.
By allowing Redsoul Design to help take control of these challenges, Admiral Trailer have been able to free up time and increase effort in value added areas of the business.

The Planet Earth Games is a new concept set to be launched in 2019 building on a rich heritage of community youth sport stretching back 20 years. The Devon Youth Games was launched in 1999 bringing together district teams representing local authorities from across the county in a multi-sport competition.
Looking ahead, the Games is widening its remit to the environment through the Planet Earth Games, not only helping engage more young people into regular activity, but educating young people and their families on best environmental practice to set a pathway to a sustainable future.
Planet Earth Games contacted Redsoul Design as they had a keen interest in developing a series of products that would compliment the ethos of the games ( sustainability, recycling and participation), whilst also being able to generate an income into the charity that could be re-invested, enabling the Games to expand a free programme of events and activities to engage young people into active environmentalists.
“We have been working closely with Rich and the team at Redsoul Design within product development and are very impressed with his professional approach. He has been brilliant in helping us navigate what can be a complicated process with sound, practical advice on sourcing existing products and product innovation. He brings both the creativity and realism that is so essential to product development.”
